Purpose and manifesto
Hermeneutics is a public space for philosophical work in progress: essays, aphorisms, video essays, and conversations that reward slow attention. The site is built to preserve form without turning form into spectacle.
The governing distinction is old and new paper. Old paper marks the continuity of reading, marginalia, revision, and inherited forms of argument. New paper marks public software, resilient structure, typed data, and a web architecture that can grow without swallowing the work.
The archive should remain clear, public, inspectable, and durable. Its diagrams decorate the margins of thought; they do not replace argument. Its technology should support reading, not perform novelty for its own sake.
Formal information
The site is architected, designed, and implemented by Synaptic Geometry. The relationship is intentionally quiet: the writing remains the center.
Categories, navigation, documents, and media entries are driven from a validated JSON content layer. Future additions should begin there.
